Looking for a 5 star luxury chalet with great access to the slopes, fabulous views and close to the restaurants and shops of La Clusaz? Beautiful Chalet Bella Cha has all this and more.
Sleeping twelve guests in five bedrooms with four bathrooms, this contemporary chalet is just 200m from the piste, and competent skiers can ski right back. You can also ski down to the village of La Clusaz, or take the ski bus, which stops just 200m from the door.
As for the views, they don't come much better - the sunny terrace and balconies look out over the Beauregard plateau and the Aravis mountains. And if you want to get out and explore the area, the chalet comes with four electric bikes, perfect for use in good weather. After a great day out, enjoy the bliss of a sauna, nordic bath or hammam to relax before the start of the evening!
The chalet is just a few minutes' drive (3km) from La Clusaz on the road up to the "Chez Arthur" restaurant on the Crêt du Merle road, which is regularly cleared of snow in the winter. However, the altitude (1300m) means you should equip your car with snow chains in the winter.
Chalet Bella Cha also has a TV room, a games room and a ski room, as well as two home office areas, making it a great choice for a group who want to spend some time in the mountains and work remotely.
About the property ...
This spacious and elegant 5 star chalet is set over two main floors, plus the main entrance and garage.
As you enter, you'll find the ski room with plenty of storage and heated boot rack, and access to the double garage. A beautiful steel and glass stairway leads down to a lower floor, where you'll find a large hallway with a desks for remote working. There are also doors to the cosy TV room, a separate WC and the wine cellar.
The fabulous, light-filled living area is at the front of the house. The dining area is surrounded by full-height windows and doors to the balcony, where you can enjoy an aperitif before dinner. A stunning three-sided fireplace separates the dining area from the comfortable seating area, where oversized soft sofas are the perfect place to relax in front of the television in the evenings.
The beautiful kitchen has everything you need (including two ovens) to cook up a mountain feast, and there's a central island with a breakfast bar where you can grab a quick snack before you head out. There are glass doors from the kitchen to the sunny terrace, where you can enjoy an al fresco meal or a barbecue on warmer days.
The first of the bedrooms is on this floor - it's a double room with a TV, an en suite shower room and doors to a balcony. There are three more bedrooms on the floor below, including the double-aspect master suite which as a double bed, a dressing area and a shower room with a separate WC. It also has doors to the garden.
The final two bedrooms are double rooms, which share a separate bathroom and WC on the landing. You'll also find the games room with a treadmill and table football, and two offices on this floor, as well as the laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
About the area ...
La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

The OVO Network Review
This beautiful contemporary chalet is just a short drive from La Clusaz. With accommodation over two floors, plus a double garage, it has four double bedrooms and three bathrooms.
With ski-in, ski-out access it's a great choice for a winter holiday, but it's also perfect for the rest of the year, with wonderful views from the terrace and four electric bikes to help you get out and explore the mountains!
You can enjoy the wonderful views from the terrace and the bedrooms, as well as from the dining area, which has full height windows on two sides. The stylish well-equipped kitchen has doors on to the terrace - perfect for summer barbecues.
On wintry evenings, you'll want to be curled up on the squishy sofas in front of the fire - there's a separate TV room too. The games room is great for younger guests, and there are also two offices for those who would like to work remotely - this is a great option for those who would like to book a longer stay but need to check in with work occasionally.
The house has been cleverly designed and beautifully decorated, but does not sacrifice style for comfort. However, steps between some of the rooms mean this house in not ideal for those with reduced mobility.

We fell in love with this cosy and contemporary chalet in 2022.
My grandparents brought me to La Clusaz in 1987, and I have been very fond of it ever since. I have returned to this beautiful resort regularly for holidays with my parents, and later with my partner and children.
After exploring the Alps, we started to look for the ideal chalet, where we could share great times with our family and friends. It was love at first sight.
And it had to be in La Clusaz.
After several years of searching, we finally found just what we were looking for.
We employed a local interior designer to help us give it a chic and contemporary look.
Chalet Bella Cha is ideally situated close to the slopes of the Crêt du Merle. You can enjoy the view of the mountains while relaxing on the south-facing terrace.
